Jesus, every time this sort of thing happens people begin to whine... but it's rather easy to avoid, just DON'T BE THERE. Quests aren't always safe for bystanders, even in the holy city of Galadon... deaths happen, if you don't like em, newbie academy was prolly pretty quiet. I for one don't want to see these interesting events curbed because a few people were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Gah, after finding a Wand of Orcus at rank 9 laying on the ground I went to Galadon and basically full-looted Nicolette and then died to a fucking geyser just before I pulled out to run for the hills.     - Yeah, I had just over 17k total exp so getting out of the whole would've taken longer than getting to the rank I was at from the beginning and I went from a Wand of Orcus, Gaiden medallion, crystal pendant, and other great goodies to jack shit.
