Try to get out of the habit of using 2. as the target on a mob, especially when practicing. Eventually you'll be practicing a spell and it'll be one of those long practice sessions, you'll be tired, and screw up and cast it on yourself... which will take away 5% from your spell. Always use the direct name of the target, it's a good habit to get into.
