I have a lowbie dwarf warrior and he was origionaly rolled to be a polearm because they tank well and do decent damage. Along the way I came to think it wasnt the best spec as they are heavy and I could easliy lose the pole by -str skills. As well as im just a little guy with a big pole (story of my life).So I was thinking cookie cutter mace would be better..obviously not for tanking but just as an all around good choice. Also many requestable maces i think.
Havent picked spec yet.
