Each Rites works a bit differently as they are evolving into a format the Imms can be proud of in choosing a leader. The first I remember of the "Rites" was when someone was displeased with Indigo the rager leader and asked an Immortal if they could be allowed to defeat him in combat in order to be leader themselves. So I think it was Celestian runs up and backstabs Indigo; I'm in the area and hear this so I run up and backstab Celestian after Indigo flees thinking why the hell is a rager attacking my leader. Basically Indigo remained leader and that just wasn't the way to do the Rites right. Now for these Rites I was skeptical about the trivia at first because although people like me have an upperhand it isn't really that much of a gauge of how good a leader I would be. Then hearing how the Rites enfolded I was pleased though because it just allowed the ragers to see what you knew and how you held yourself. In my opinion they seemed like a well done Rites.
