Along with the lag and wis/int reduction, it works kinda like tears some times as well..eg. they can't scan around. There might be some other effects..but I've only gotten those two with my mace spec (At least I think thats what they did..=0P don't take this for gold) Its also one of the best lag attacks in the game since it can get past fly (unlike trip) and past protective shield (unlike bash/throw). But..you can't cranial enlarged giants.
