I personally don't deduct points for someone checking thier role....as long as they're acting on it as well, hell, check it as much as a mid-level mage types "where" for all I care. I would hope that after you've played the character a little bit you'd get a good feel for your role and not have to check back with it constantly...but if you feel the need to (I'd check your rp at that point) do so freely....as I said, that's half the reason we put the command in.
