I'm far from an elite pker, but I can hold my own. Here's the best PK advice that I've accumulated over the years. 1. Preparation is vital. If you don't use the magical items at your disposal, you'll get beat by the guy who does. 2. Truthfully, typing fast is vitally important. 3. Surprise is one of the greatest advantages. It wasn't until I played Alfonse that I learned that. 4. Don't be afraid to run. Unless you have an RP reason, don't stick around for a fight that you have a less than 50% chance of winning. 5.As Sun Tzu wrote in the Art of War, know your enemy. And know yourself. This can be especially useful when you're taking out specific, powerful enemies. I once took out that 20th level human polearm spec who was walking around with the Scales of the Crimson dragon, etc, because I fought him a few times just to test what he would do. Then I formulated a plan and whooped his ass. Just my 2cents.
6. Finally, surround yourself with skilled people. Even then, don't rely on them too heavily. If you surround yourself with idiots, it will come back to bite you in the ass. Oh, and if you hunt with those who are skilled, you can learn from them.
