I don't think people coming to the forum and discussing things is an issue... three years ago, in the era I'm referring to as the Golden Age of CF, there was an active forum on the official CF page. Same deal as this, basically. Then Glimo took over, and so on. So it makes little sense for the forum to be a real issue, since it's been there both in good and bad times.

Now, if you want to argue about the increasing use of IRC/ICQ, where 3 years ago most people just e-mailed, if anything... that's a valid argument. But I'd argue less because of information sharing, and more because it promotes a mob mentality that is definitely harmful.
