I mostly agree with PB. Little candy that really has no effect would be nice. I'm not even saying I deserve it, I'm just trying to be an explorer right now. I am thinking, however, that the IMM's are probably busy right now coding whatever grandious (sp) things they've been hinting at. I haven't explored much of the new areas yet, but from what I hear, they're awesome. So it's not like the IMM's aren't doing anything. Maybe when they're not so busy they start adding these little goodies in. As for the argument that IMM's should be handing out candy to make your CF experience better...maybe you should make your own CF experience better! Tired of being the only "Elite" around who can pk or rp worth a crap? Well then do 1 of 3 things. 1) Leave. This wouldn't be my choice because as a newbile player myself, I like to see the better players on and learn from them. 2) Sit there and shut up. Enjoy your own glory that you've managed to become so good. or 3) (And this is really my suggestion) Take a newbie or two under your wing. If you find someone that isn't up to your standards, teach them a thing or two. Maybe it's about some eq item, maybe it's how to pk someone, or maybe just wow them with your own outstanding roleplay. My own rp gets better when I'm around others who will rp with me. Noone ever said CF was nebie friendly, but it's downright newbie hostile these days! Why? Because of "Elites" who are unwilling to share any information about anything! Or the Elites scatter when they see someone new because "they're not as good as I am." Seems to me many (but definitly not all, and hopefully not even most) are more concerned with being the best, than having fun. It's ok if someone else know a little secret. It's ok if all of a sudden someone else can kill your character. Remember when you were just learning? And how good it felt when an older character helped you out? I for one am sorry that Belaran won't post anymore. His emotes (which many people are obviously upset about) were awesome. This has nothing to do with whether they were robotic or not. Belaran simply enjoyed his character, put thought into him, and did something a little extra. Who cares whether or not it caused him to flee or get killed? If you do, then shrug to yourself and move on. No need to berate the guy for something he obviously enjoys.
