It's the newbie lightwalker's fault, then. Especially now that Imperials are auto-titled, he shouldn't be asking that person. If he does, the Imperial is at fault for helping. Is that unfair? Nope. It can be handled well later. I got newbie requests for aid as Ingvar a fair amount, for reasons that escape me. My typical answer? "You must mistake me for some fool Servant of the Dawn? Why should I care about aiding you?" Or something like that. This does two things: It chases them off without compromising my role, and it convenientally gives them a hint: Servants are a good person to ask. In the original example, I was assuming that the newbie picked a half-decent person to ask. Either way, I'm sure as hell not breaking role. In your example, the Imperial could use the question to extol the virtues of the Blade Sect, and try to draw out some roleplay.
