My answer to the 'why' part of your post:
personally, to be an 'elite' is not, nor ever was my aim. I think I should enlarge on that however.
What is being 'elite' as I understand it? Most often it seems to me that this refers to PK abilities of the person rather then anything else (on the forum, of course). Now, I, of course, had a period of time when being killed truely made me upset. That is gone. However I still enjoy killing someone. And of course try to improve in that. But! I don't just repeatedly PK to increase my skill in that very aspect of the game, i.e. other aspects are sometimes more interesting to me (exloring, roleplaying,..) and instead of ignoring them due to consuming desire to be 'elite' (which I don't have, thank God) I enjoy them as much as the PK aspect.
I am not upset even of the realization of the fact that I, perhaps, will never be 'elite' due to the reason mentioned.
It seems to me similar things may refer to a large part of the playerbase. Apparently, people come to play this game for different reasons and that is pretty much the answer I think.

Onto the question now.
It is quite obvious that, for you, the PK aspect of the game is the most important and even the only important. All other aspects just lead to greater ability in first (knowing Thera well, roleplaying well enough to get the special tattoo\skill\whatnot,...) Hence, when the joy from this aspect is gone, the game is no longer interesting.

Why are you posting this?

In hope that you will offend enough 'gifted' players like Zorszaul tried with his FAQ and they will forget everything but constant training in PK to finally become a match to you?
I am afraid they won't, you will fail just like Zorszaul did. (I personally will not because I am neither offended nor interested in the goal, though I am not even 'gifted' perhaps)

If that's not the reason I would like to hear the real one.
I in no way meant to be offensive and if you feel I did just remember I am not a native speaker and my skills in English are not even near to perfect.
