I could see Lawful Neutrals in Empire, but I'd hope it would be a very, very rare occurance, tightly regulated by RP in the mode of sylvan shaman/warriors or scarab paladins. I hope this because it would be an amazingly difficult/complex role to play a Neutral Imperial within the Imperial organization - he'd have differing views on Imperial politics, relationships with other cabals, bloodoathing, PKing, et al... or he'd just end up a LE with a neutral aura for min/max benefits. If anyone could roll up a LN, I think the 2nd variety would prevail (ie I don't have alot of faith in people justifying their alignments in roleplaying). Re: Empire being down. Well, to be honest, it did peak for an extended time while it had a full council a month or so after you left. I think the main problem is that alot of people that could have been key players in the resurgence (ex. Sevarik) have deleted or stopped showing. There are some good players that definately make contributions, though, and I think Empire is generally on par with everyone else, meaning: No one cabal is terrifically overpowering right now, in my humble view. I see this as a GOOD thing.
