> I don't see the "taking a break" defense as legitimate Of course it's legitimate. How are my reasons for it.. not legitimate? That depends on whether or not you are checking ahead of time, Imb. Doesn't And what the hell is wrong with that. I took a huge beating with Saerin. Part Ok.. that's just weak. If I'm in the mood to have a little fun online playing CF > As far as policing is concerned it would be damn hard. No kidding. That's part of my point. Do you really want to give another things for > You can't do it by email for obvious reasons, you can't do it by IP 'cause then AOL users and college-lab users get the shaft. I'm not sure sharing your driver's license number, social security number, credit card number is such a good idea in this environment. How tempted would Sacer be with Chris Warren's credit card number? Not saying he'd abuse it, but how tempted would he be? If I had to give personal information to play this game, I'd find something else to > The only thing I can come up with is money. Charge a one-time fee of $50 for an ID number. You then use that ID number when you log in. Name, password, ID number. Match the ID number with the IP for deeper policing so people don't then re-sell their ID number to others when they quit playing the game. Even this system isn't fool-proof, but it's a start. At that point, I'd go somewhere else. > I'd pay $50 to play CF, especially when I think of all the money CF has saved me when I would otherwise be at Wal-mart or Software ETC. spending 40 bucks a pop on a game that I'd beat in 10 hours. One time $50 fee to fuel an addiction. That's pretty cheap. ;)
If I want to take a break from one character and play another, what's
wrong with that? It's not logging in to see who's in or out of my pk
range. This is usually fairly obvious, and can get you in trouble currently.
> 'cause people use the "taking a break" defense as an excuse to log on their char that has the odds in his favor
it? Before you decide to play a different character, you shouldn't know what
either pk range is like, should you?

of it because I suck, and I was an invoker knight when the re-vamp hit. I
enjoyed playing the character, but why should I keep beating my head against a
wall? So, I decide for a couple of days I'm going to get my CF fix with a different
character. Are we playing to have fun?
> If you want to take a break, take a break from CF.
without having to worry about getting my ass kicked, it is MY opinion that I should
be able to.
admin to police? I don't.
do.
