The last char I played recently was Corinthar a hand-to-hand/staff/spear spec and I can honestly say that for tanking purposes, it's really hard to beat. I can't give you a definite count pk-wise since that wasn't what the character was about but I had only one loss after 200 hours of play. While the upside of staff/spear for an arial is you aren't going to get hit very often, the downside is you are not going *to hit* very often. Even with the hand-to-hand skills, I didn't hit as often as I would have liked. Corinthar did hit hard when he did hit though... The truth of this matter is, unfortunately, arials are naturals for the sword spec just as felars are naturals for hand-to-hand. I don't know how long I would have been interested in playing Corinthar simply because you get tired of being the tank. Although, stun/impale was a hell of a lot of fun... Just my thoughts on the matter. Harlequin > Hi all, > Working on an Arial warrior, but want to avoid the cookie cutter sword spec.
