Possible.

I feel somewhat qualified to offer you my opinion only because I did have a warrior in sylvan (Ahvlannon - probably before your time if you're asking this).

My take:

It's all about roleplaying. If you can find a way to view warfare/swordsmanship/fighting in some way that it is an intrinsic part of spirit or nature, and adds to the environment around you, and somehow fits in with the sylvan utopia philosophy... go for it. Never think of your character as a warrior, but as a viable personality - a personality that somehow justifies the character's lifestyle choice (warrior) and rectifies the inherent contradiction between the type of person that would make that choice and the type of person that would be a warder. For example.. why didn't your character take up woodsmanship, and become a ranger? You get my point.

My only problem with playing Ahvlannon was that as I reached Hero, I got caught up in the cabal warfare/constant fighting cycle, and lost my grasp on the intuitive roleplaying that made me want to play him.. for me, it's hard to keep your roleplaying and interest going when you're overwhelmed by the necessities of cabal warfare/daily cabal life (especially when you get into cabal leadership, it's hard to maintain your roleplaying as opposed to turning your character into a more ideal leader) - flontinot is a good example of someone who managed to do this. Don't let that happen to your warrior, should you manage to get inducted.

So, to sum: Yes, a warrior can get into sylvan. However, you need a better explanation for what led your warrior to sylvan than "I can hack away at anyone who threatens nature." You need roleplaying that makes it clear why sylvan is the obvious and "natural" choice for your warrior.
