Remember in order to use h2h skills you need both hands free. Ironhands - Allows you to parry with your bare hands. Evasion - Using the terrain to place the combatant out of range. Vital Area - Attempt to weaken an opponent with a strike to a vital area. Pummel - Attempt to land a powerful blow on your opponent. Stun - Attempt to knock a person unconscious. Crushing Blow - Lacing your hands in a massive strike on your opponent. What about giving h2h warriors backfist ? Aim eye - chance to give opponent black eye. Aim nose - chance to break nose (aka. cross skill) After nose is broken all successful (50% chance) hits on it will do minor damage and extend period of bleeding for 1 hour. Aim skull - Try to crack somebody's skull.
Let's take a look what you get:
A MUST to have.
Right now it is just different kind of feint.
Make it automatic with low chance of occurrence.
Neat thing to have.
Make it so it could be done on unconscious people.
Damage. You could lag enemy sometimes.
This is the skill people pick h2h as second spec. It is really really good. Works nearly all the time.
Even more then it should. :-)
Decrease success ratio.
Good damage and occasionally you could bring opponent down.
---------
These skills are good and unique but somehow they do not make people choose h2h as a first spec.
Also give them ability to aim special blows on different parts of opponents body with different affects ?
(25% chance, 1 round lag)
If successful : minor(hits-mauls) damage, -2 hitroll affect, no scanning for several days.
Can be done on both eyes with cumulative affects.
(25% chance, 1 round lag)
If nose is broken : medium (mauls-MUTILATES) damage, minor bleeding for 1-2 hours.
Aim clothing - Try to tear out (10% chance of damaging or strip off) pieces of opponent equipment.
Materials such as soft leather, wool, paper affected. Can't be done on armor type things.
Aka dent/strip_eq.
2 round lag
Chances :
0.1% - instant kill.
5% - stun for 2 hours
30% - momentary stun opponent (1 round lag) and -1 int/wis for 5 hours(cumulative)
