I have played an axe hand to hand spec and there is nothing better besides polearme or mace hand to hand.
Axes are the best of you are the kind to practice to perfection. Hand to hand will allow you to stun and wait for that damn dirt kick to wear off while you pick up your axe then wipe em out. as for practice, yes it is hard but very worth it. polearm is also another option from hand to hand because of its AWSOME DEFENSE I say try a polearme hand to hand giant first so you know the capabitlities from top to bottom, youll fall in love with it I promise.
