Maybe they aren't the "Talking" type, or maybe in their character's estimation it is too obvious to require explaination. Or maybe they just don't want to listen to you whine about the light or the Kara-chal, or whatever. For someone who thought the height of his RP career was wanting everyone with his Arbiter, then saying he "Sold his soul to chaos" the "I RP and no one else does!" argument is particularly unconvincing.
