When you have an entire MUD population after your axe, even two arch-enemies would band to be the one to sacrifice it. I'd have been jacked way back when it was in the 30's (charge-wise), then the army of transmuters/necro's etc would have been called in, and I'm dead. Knowing which players are around and avoiding places where you cannot be certain really helps prolonging your life.
