Yes, the answer is definitely no. But for those of us who can't play a class/race combo to their full potential while overcoming their shortcomings (this is most of us) i'd suggest the easy route of just going with a human. Easier to rank, better pk range, 4 more int so practicing isn't as much of a pain in the ass, no vulns to divine/water, and the ability to be enlarged to wield two handed weapons and bash to the best of your ability. I played one as Myrsus and was rather happy with how it turned out.
