I think in a Sylvans view the world is going to hell. Its like you had all your candy stolen. So you are planning to defend that last piece with all you got. If someone then even tries to have a go for that, I'd personally would be very angry about just this little fact. Its the cummullation(SP?) of things. So put in a sylvan perspective. A ranger who still lives is sacred. I think a sylvan would try to safe the woods. But he wont have anyone even touch the ranger. It has become so sacred since it is so rare now.
