-I agree, CF used to be this extremely addicting world
that I could assume different personas and characters
and see how they would interact with dozens of other
intelligent people. I didn't really play for the pking,
but I would have never played a MUSH or something like
that, the danger was a great thing to play with, and
there's nothing like the rush of a successful pk. It
was great...

Why did I quit? Well, you probably don't care, but I'll
continue anyways (Sorry Dio). Basically, it was the
fact that CF became more and more time intensive. I
essentially didn't have time to create character after
character and spend literally hundreds of hours playing
and perfecting and ranking. This isn't a complaint
about time needed for the game, I loved CF, I imm'd for
a short while and wrote an area, but I just could not
keep playing. As I grew up and got a job, my drivers
license, and the reality of going to college in a few
years, it hit me that I could not continue to play CF
with a passion, live a normal high-schooler life, get
good grades and work on and off. It's too bad, I looked
back on my early days with fond nostalgia, it really
was fun, but when it ceased to be good fun and became
addictive fun, that's when I started thinking about
quitting.

Here I am, CF-free for a full year, although I haven't
been weaned off the forum, and I doubt that I ever will
be. Oh well.

Take it easy everyone, I'll be about.
