You are completely right. It is ridiculous to complain about the newbies.. when today's old players were just as much newbie when they first came around. pff. And I know from long experience quite a few other muds that when these guys pop up singing praises for 'Ye Good Ole Dayz' and of how the mud is lost because it has lost the former perfect glory it once had.. well they are just remembering how they would have _liked_ the mud to be, rather than how it actually was. The glory of the former days is actually the 'novelty factor' they had in the mud, regardless of whether it lasted a day or 6 years. once its gone, too bad. The truth is the muds in and of themselves hardly ever really change. Its the old player who grows tired and bored with the same system.. its only human to do so.. The tipically the rest of the playerbase is blamed for having 'strayed from the path' and the mud is condemned. Its all denial, mostly. Anyway, for the ones who keep trying to poison the forum with their little CF Is Dead notes, I say just move over and let the new wave of CFers take over. well do just fine. or not. who cares, we still have the novelty factor, and for us CF is definitely shining as bright as ever!! *Cheers*
