I never knew Challen, but I did know Shaitar, Dhaevor, and a few of his other characters. Characters are never handed powers. They earn them. The fact that he had a tattoo, a special weapon, special powers, speaks of him being truly elite. His PK ability is unquestioned, the extra perks speak more to his roleplay ability than his PK ability. That, makes a character elite... well above average in every facet of the game. You response may be, 'What gives Quinthen the right to decide what elite is?' The answer being, while I am in no way an elite player by your definition, I consider myself a knowledgable player, one who knows the world, and those who inhabit it fairly well.
