I have to say, when you aren't as concerned with your PK record and armor, you do have a lot of fun doing some things that most would consider stupid.
Such as running in your shrine and attacking one of your Marans in front of you. Obviously not the brightest thing in the world to most, but it adds a bit of flavor when and IMM is trying to drive a spear through you while you are fighting someone heh.
As of late you do see a lot of Pking in large groups, and at first I reacted somewhat poorly to it, since it was dropping the fun I was having a bit.
Then I looked at it from the other side, now I do like to explore, rp and come out on top of one on one fights, so to me that is a step towards winning, since winning is just enjoying myself when I play.
Now others get a sense of enjoyment just from killing others in the game, whether it is one on one or five on one, they just like the rush they get from it, and really there isnt anything wrong with that. They are still having their fun, so winning in their own minds.
