Invariably, these people are immediately recognized by both newbies & imm staffs as players of experience. They know what to do, what to say, what to get, etc., and because of it, they are the ones with special titles, leadership positions in a cabal or a religion, and by process of elimination, the "elites" are the ones making lich characters. What's your point? That newbies can't succeed? Kiss my ass, I'm still a newbie because I was that leader. So you have to be elite if you play liches? I am recognized by imms and newbies and I hardly ever know what to say cause I've never done it before. I just do what my character would do. With this character first time ever being in a cabal, let alone become cabal leader. So what if I really didn't know how to get to Udgaard before lots of people when they first start off can't find stuff. Now, I know most of the explore area's off by heart. It may not be a newbie friendly game but I seemed to have no problem adapting. I help newbies all the time and roleplay more around them then I do when imms are around or another experienced player. For one that hasn't played recently you know a lot of crap about nothing. Josh
(Since, when's the last time we saw a bumbling lich wondering where Udgaard was? And I can tell you from maple.can.net some cabal leader couldn't find Udgaard from Galadon)
