Would it be uncharitable of me to say that the average cf'er doesn't interact on this level in their day to day lives and are thus unlikely to have the social skills to draw these from people effectively in a game setting?
(just a view of the mIRC population and a reason why i never make my characters have a secret plot line, having to spell it out to people before they catch on is just a waste of time)
