This is a PK MUD. It is a huge, important part of the game. However, you cannot PK the entire time you are playing (with rare exceptions). I get an incredible thrill out of fighting, but the times in between fights are just as important to me. I like interacting with characters I enjoy, and I always enjoy meeting new characters, and being pleasantly surprised by the roleplay. There are still characters out there who only pay lip-service to roleplay, but they are easily ignored, for the most part. If you cannot roleplay in the least, you stand out immediately, and tend to be shunned for it. This is a tribute to the other players, who demand roleplay from everyone they encounter. There will always be those who slip through the cracks, and do nothing but PK, and sometimes, they stand out for that. To me, those PK only players truly help us realize the difference between famous, and infamous.
