You may consider the Warder argument weak, but your argument doesn't make any sense. I was a Warder when conjurors came in.
You are summoning a creature from it's natural environment to come and do *your* bidding. In my mind this is akin to a circus
capturing a tiger, and training it for entertainment. This is how my Warder viewed it. My Warder also viewed magic as a gift
from nature. Elves (as I stated below) are born with the ability to use magic all the time. If it were something that was not
natural then you wouldn't see a large number of creatures born with the ability to use magic.
> By Sylvan's argument, it is.
In your view it is.. not necessarily in the Warders view. You are talking about two different things. It's not the phenomena
of the ability to use magic itself, it's what is being done with that magic that is the question. A transmuter may use his magic
to get closer to his animal spirit. An invoker may use his magic to be in tune with the power and fury of nature. A conjuror?
> The rebuttal is, "Angels (or whatever) come from a different plane, that's different from just jumping in the water." But no, it isn't.
> The Ocean covers part of the ground, and meets it at the shore. The atmosphere surrounds the earth and ocean. Well the next "plane" simply surrounds the atmosphere...all planes touch each other. Yes, you need extra-ordinary means to pass from one plane to another. But a felar ranger also ned extra-ordinary means to travel into the air.
Wait, you are talking about using the spell fly to float over the ocean, and comparing it to summoning an angel, devil etc from it's *own* plane
of existance, binding it, and using it to serve your whim. I'm not sure of your logic.
> Honestly, my opinion is most, but not all, of the current Sylvans just want an excuse to kill someone. And no, I don't hate sylvans. The only sylvan I've ever hunted was a Wanted Sylvan. which reminds me of another argument. "The cities are spreading so we must attack them!" Please. When was the last time a city spread?
To be honest, it's a bigger mistake for the Warders to have a kill all policy when it comes to conjurors. It's makes more sense to have it dealt
with on a case by case basis. However, in the case of neutral conjurors, you'd have a real tough time convincing me not to kill you. A creature
of the light serving a neutral conjuror willingly would be something you'd have to show me to prove it (as a Warder not a player ;) )
