A parallel I'd use in trying to argue with a Warder is comparing this to a druid's call of the wild, taking an animal out of its natural habitat to assist the druid wherever the druid may go. You could get a shambling mound from a swamp and bring it into a desert or city, and so forth. And yet this is acceptable... why? I suppose because it's a temporary act, and the animal returns to its natural habitat shortly. The bond in question is a temporary one. Permanent habitats and the balance of Thera aren't disrupted in the process, nor are they in the case of conjurers. The angel or elemental (or demon, for that matter) that comes to the Prime Material plane will return on its own before long. No lasting harm is done to the environment.
