1) I'm not sure why the IMMs would code three new shields if they were identical to the previous three. Completeness, I guess, but they're busy folk right now, and I can't see this being a huge priority.

2) There are only so many 38+ invokers in Thera. You are one of them. This might be one of those opportunities to actually "figure something out", as the kids like to call it. Try the new ones in some fights, against different opponents in different terrains. For ice, I'd bet cold or hot environments are a good start. You've gotten this far in invoker life, right?
