In a straight up fight thieves aren't the greatest. Thieves aren't warriors with backstab, they aren't outclassed at hero, they just don't do the best in one on one fights. (similar to healers, they are a good friend to have) Admittedly they could perhaps do with more "thiefy" (a la assassins) skills but they certainly ain't lacking in any department. Graham
If the opponent doesn't have protections then they rock.
If the thief is not tanking and is there as an assistant to a.n.other, they rock.
