It's not easy... That's why you don't see a ton of high level invokers running around. Having a Tome (being with Masters) does help a bit. The key to playing an invoker is strategery (sorry, had to say it.) No, really, the key is persistance... And knowing where you can spam safely. As for increasing your speed of learning, just be sure you've got your int as high as possible and spend your time working more on spells than gaining ranks.
