Both are useful for a conjurer, but there are a few things that you should keep in mind:

1) Cabal choice. If you go Masters, and get Magical Control, having a ton of mana isn't quite as important, because the powers will pump up your conjurations anyway.

2) Gear. It is much easier to find big +mana items than it is to find big +hp items. Many classes want to max out hp, but only a few are really worried about optimizing mana.

3) Con. If it's your first conjurer, expect to die a few times because of mishaps with your creatures. It's an inherently risky job. Also, remember to save a few trains for the inevitable wearing down by age.

For most conjurers, I'd recommend mostly hp, with a few mana if and only if you notice that you aren't able to crank out the very best conjurations at the higher ranks. (As a gnome, this isn't terribly likely, because your natural mana should be quite high.) For a Master, I'd recommend all hp. In either case, I'd keep a few trains back for con at all times.

I'm level 5, and I have everything maxed out..so here's my question, what do I do with all these trains? Do I pump up my hp (could get over 250 by hero) or do I pump up my mana (for all those conjurer spells that have variable mana)
