First, poison darts. They're very mysterious... if you keep trying them out and cataloging the effects you'll be more knowledgeable than most assassins out there. Their effects are nice, but much like Scarab powers they won't be handed to you on a silver platter on this forum. Second, disarm & crescent kick. All I'm going to say is that in CF it seems that when someone tries to use a skill on you (i.e. disarm), a small percentage of their chance at being successful relies on your lack of knowledge in that particular skill. Here's an extremely crude example... a warrior and assassin are fighting... it could look something like this. Warrior: DISARM Now, both of their rolls could include things like their skill in disarm, dexterity, weapon type, strength, etc.. By not knowing any skill that could be used against you, it's my opinion that you're making yourself more vulnerable. I realize there are skills out there that won't be compared to your opponent's skills when used, but I happen to have more success in NOT getting disarmed when I actually know the disarm skill. Another reason why Assassins should practice all their kicks... as they get more complicated your opponent has no clue what you're doing and is more vulnerable. (i.e. consistent hits) (see also: maces&axes VS assassins) -Zepachu. > Also i have searched the forum about the famous poisondagger ability now why is this a secret? I have found that the acidic ability puts acid in your opponents blood which works just like they are poisoned (every tick they take damage from it just like normal poison, but they can be poisoned as well so they take it twice.) Now i have noticed that you can get various messages with poisondagger: > 1) Your poison dart misses ... (didnt work) > and 4) ... starts suddenly as the dart hits ..., but then looks around in confusion. > now 4) is when they are actually confused . I have done this against many mobs but never noticed anything happening to them. Perhaps it works only against players or they cant use there special skills like trip or bash not sure. Does anyone know what this does to them and poison darts sleep i have not tried yet. > Hope this helps clear up poisondarts a bit for other players now help us all out and lets work these other poisons out including me.
*calculate warrior's chance*
if (Warrior's Roll - Assassin's Roll) > 70 successful; else failed;
> I am wondering what other assassin opinions are of these two abilities. Is it worth learning disarm when you have cresent kick? I have found crescent kick seems to have the same chances of disarming your opponent as disarm with the added advantage of damage. In my opinion i guess disarm is only useful when your opponent has a weapon and can't be kicked, although i can't remember off hand a mob with this status.
> 2) Your poison dart knicks the skin of ... (hit them but didnt poison them)
> 3) For confusion, you can knick them but they resist the poison
