I deleted my character in sylvan. A near hero ranger because of many reasons.
One: Sylvan roleplay is crap. Those I ran into were all Flontinot clones, giddy
and laughing until any mention of someone in their pk. Then suddenly they clammed
up and started preparing nad hunting down people actively. Killing them in towns,
killing them anywhere they could find someone in their pk. I even had two sylvans
say they needed equipment so they decided to go out and pk people. They did not ask
questions, try to figure out what they were doing in the forest. Hell, one of them
killed a good align assassin requesting from a mob in emerald. The previously mentioned
Sylvan Death Squad was in full force. I even thought I was bloodthirsty when I snared
someone and questioned them and let them go... Has it changed in the three or so weeks
that I have not played my sylvan? Possibly, but I doubt that because most of the people
I gained levels with are now hero and I doubt they have changed their ways suddenly.

Two: The sheer disgustingness (sp?) of the powers in combonation with a ranger. I could
take on groups of five. I killed four out of five people in a group at hero range with two
of them Masters. Conjurers seem difficult for you in masters? Please, sylvans have an ability
that allows them to deal with the most difficult part of conjurers with one simple power:beast call.
Sylvan powers are so PK oriented that its hard to resist the draw. I found myself so disgusting
it was not even a challenge anymore. People who raided, no matter how big the party usually lost
three or four of their members before fleeing or gaining the item. That is fighting against one
ranger. Shamans in Sylvan and the Sylvan cabal location make raiding even more difficult. Also not
even knowing what the hell or who the hell you will be fighting is more disgusting than you even know.
So if you are crying about Conjurers in Masters when sylvan is easily the best equiped to deal with them,
then you have something else coming. I think most of the offensive classes should not be even allowed
into the cabal, this means NO shamans and NO warriors. Hell, I remember Seobok saying something to the effect
of an assassin in sylvan is about as rare as a shaman or warrior in sylvan, and an assassin in sylvan is
something that happens once every couple years.

What should we do? I think axe the sylvan powers as we know it now and turn it into something that a lot
more classes can join or keep the sylvan powers and move away from the OFFENSIVE CLERIC (shaman) and warrior.
Just ban them straight out. Christ a healer with sylvan powers is extremely powerful, shamans and warriors
and assassins (unless they severely limit themselves) should not be let in.
