In response to your first post:

*laughs* We should chalk this up as one of the threads
that nevers dies. Stick it right next to the imm conspiracy
threads.

Geeez. There are plenty of strengths to an arcane transmuter.
IMHO, they are not meant to be played like shifting transmuters.

Duo Dimension is nice.. see *ALL* my previous posts. The one
interesting thing about hold person with all the criticisms aside.
IF it lands, you are almost guaranteed a kill. This is especially
true if you have friends in tow. You have more of a chance surviviing
halt. I've done it on plenty of occaisions.

Remember that you have a little bit of power/flexibility with an
arcane transmuters minor forms.

And to your second post:

If you plan correctly, this shouldn't be a huge problem.
There were a couple of times the lag got me killed, but that
is because it was a mistake *I* made. The only other time
the lag hurts you is if you get attacked by a duo seeing
aggressive mob. That can get ugly.

It may have been changed, and it may not have been changed.
Put an arcane transmuter in the hands of an experienced player,
and everyone in their pk range will be spamming locate spells/supps
trying to find the piece of equipment said player tends to use.

The best research is the one done first hand. Play one and find
out is my suggestion
