It is the fact that:
1) people who hate ragers usually are those who never played
them (or tried but ended with low ranking pkilling).
Many of those who tried once, changed their mind
(though I admit there are hard core imperials or masters)

2) and many of players who play mostly ragers
tried mages, they just love to play battle (but they
KNOW what is the thing "playing a mage")

to be short: "ragers fight, mages slay"
that is the difference between playing mages or battle.

And people who cries about ganging in ragers usually newbies
or total morons. If you drop independant glance over the mud
you will notice that mages gang twice or triple as often
as ragers do (yes, you can say they are allowed)
Simply players who play mages have gang in their own blood
and often they continue ganging even being a rager.
you can't change your behaviour in 1 minute.

PS: don't mix ganging and team-fighting.
