Give it some time. It's possible this is part of a larger picture we aren't privy to yet.

Personally, and you may disagree, I don't see why we can't be privy. After all, this is a game, and while we shouldn't have the exact mechanics of chance worked out for us, some things should be explained. I think morale is one of these. Okay, I imagine locale affects morale...so why is my Citizen uncomfortable in the throne room? He's been fed, he's in the throne room, he has equipment -- Why can't he sleep? Now, in real life, we as people know what kinds of things will affect how we feel (ie, morale). This, however, is a game and has a standard for everyon that they must play according to (yes, play, even if it sometimes feels like work, particularly practice...but I digress). It would be nice if the immortals could go through everyone's role and code in things that would make each specific character wary or happy. Perhaps your character loves fruit, but with the current morale system, he could be in an orchard and be depressed. I realize these are the restrictions of it being a game -- which is why I say that we should have what factors affect morale revealed, so that we can at least have a guess at why our character has suddenly become suicidal (which brings up an interesting tangent...if you let your character get horribly depressed will he make use of the suicide command for you? :P)
