This particular urban legend (wearing dam gear reduces Healer saves) wasn't "easily" believed. It has a long, long history of support and comments on this forum from people (mortals) that we would normally trust and consider knowledgable (for example, Joshu and Macheath in this very thread), and you are the first person, Immortal or player, literally, that I've seen come out and refute it. In fact, if you were posting as a mortal player, I'm sure no one would believe you - and many would disagree openly, but the fact that you're the Imp basically puts an end to the myth and to discussion. I'm guessing the urban legend was allowed to continue (people like Nep revel in poking holes in urban legend balloons) because the urban legend supported the original intentions for the healer class (healing) - kind of funny how there can be positive side affects from a myth. Anyway, thanks for putting an end to it.
