heavy weapons?

Ive wondered how it is with very heavy weapons, I mean they should do much more damage than a light one maybe not cutting damage but bludgeoning. If an axe weighs 50 or whatever it should hurt just to have that fall on you but if it was wielded with power it should do much more damage thatn an ordinary weapon that just ways 15 or something. My question is if there is any bonuses for heavy weapons?
