I believe that the imms should have a very limited role in the politics. They should not be the ones to kick players out of cabals, ever. Unless there is a cheating thing going on. They should leave everything up to the mortlas. I guess the best example of this I can think of is the Empire. If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, immortals often are the ones doing the anethemaing. As soon as they see the smallest problem, perhaps a rebellion in the works? they anethema the player instantly so their precious Empire doesn't fall apart. If the imms are seeking to make this game more lifelike, they need to let these things play out. Juilius Caesar had no idea that he was being betrayed, and all of the sudden BAM! he got backstabbed by Brutus. That kind of thing never happens, and in the time period that this game portrays, these things happened all of the time. I'm just rambling on really, but, go ahead, flame at me for a while. - Immortals are representatives of their Cabals. They are the patron God's of them, and how their Cabal acts reflects upon them. It is fully within their right to kick out any member who they do not believe should be part of their Cabal, let's say there is a Rager that doesn't attack, seek out, and kill magi, except when their God is visible or if their leader is on, that is a perfect example of when someone should be talked to, warned, or kicked out depending on how often this happens. Or a Baron that doesn't promote chaos as much as he/she should, or an Imperial allying with a goodie via a neutral leader. These are examples that might not be caught by a leader and the God can kick out the member, or have the leader do it, whichever they choose.
