You'll notice it isn't a mud spcializing in Role Play with Player Killing required...ie: the requirement is that you roleplay, not that you pk. As to why? I'd personally like to think that what makes CF stand out is that there is a running story line based on roleplay...namely the interaction of cabals, and why the cabals exist.
