A transmutter doesn't really off offensive spells.
SPELLCRAFT
Truly skilled magic users are able to become skilled enough in their art
that their spells will be more effective. Once spellcraft is learned to
a high enough degree, certain things like offensive power, SPELL
DURATIONS , or other factors may be INCREASED in many spells.
