I must say both of you are to a certain extent wrong in different areas. The new paladin two hand spec had lots of nifty things. Tho as it was pointed out, they had two round lags on them, and were never reliable. For all you new paladins, you should go shield ded, two hand ded just isnt worth it. mastering all three strikes to only have them worth 70 % strike 1, 50% strike 2 , 25% strike three, just isnt worth shit. Anyway as mentioned above, I've spamed hundreds of these posts before pointing out the obvious 10 minute fix to the class, but nothing has been done, so Ill end it here.
They required the right weapon combination between you and your opponent, they required a fight to last over 15 rounds (7 skills worth - assumeing your not being lagged yourself) I spent 300 odd hours testing every skill inside out and still couldnt work out what two of them did.
Sure the side affects of the strikes actually working is nice... if that pk fight lasts long that 30 rounds and you have that 1 in 15 chance of landing it..
Special affects only worked a fraction of the time if you landed the final strike.
Its been 6 months, and the immortals still havent released a help file on the individual skills of the templars defense. Tho I was told by two different high ranking immortals, as well as my empowerment Immortal that It can be extremly deadly if used right... I couldnt tap their codeing knowledge of what the skills did. Everything bagged up in your affects list into 1 affect didnt make it any easier as well.
