On the cabal. Empire, by its very nature of survival of the fittest, is going to see a lot of nasty backstabbing, including getting the boot. I really don't see that happening in any other cabal unless you do something completely against the nature of that cabal. The role playing potential is great for being booted and trying to 'reform' yourself, or extract vengeance on your old cabal mates...plenty of possibilites.

I don't really see anyone getting the boot unless they deserve it (outside of Empire.) And if you're talking about Empire, I think everyone should realize upon joining that the chances of them dying of old age in that cabal are slim to none.

Just my opinion.
