The Great Ghost Dance: ../logs/messages/8623.html My "death": ../logs/messages/9361.html 1. Death Knights long ago fucked with the Orb. Masters lost tess.
And to semi-succinctly explain what happened:
2. Moridin makes wish with those statues whose name I can never spell correctly (Ori-something) that the Tower will stand forever.
3. Masters and others defeated Death Knights. Death Knights pissed. Put curse on orb via Moridin's wish (unbeknownst to anyone).
4. Years later, curse comes back to haunt Masters. They lose the ability to use barrier with transform.
5. Someone figures out that the taint on the Orb is in part due to the Orb being housed within the Tower.
6. Twist performs the Great Ghost Dance with the help of the people mentioned in those logs (also on a plaque in the first room of the Tower, next to the golem).
7. The ritual does not give enough power to fully cleanse the Orb, and so Twist gives of his own Divine power. He gives to much, and the energy he was master of flares about wildly, as he is too weak to control it.
8. He creates a new Tower to house the Orb and finishes cleansing the Orb. His power is now out there for someone to grab.
9. Jullias begins to move for that power, and none dare oppose him. While he's at it, he starts to take in Cador's power as well (since Cador's been dead a while).
10. The two "threads" of power combine, and move away from Jullias (as though their former owners did not wish for him to gain that power) and towards a young godling who had admired Cador, named Balgrimnr.
11. Jullias decides to let this godling have the power, as he may be able to make use of this development later on.
