I have looked at it for a while, writing programs that work with it and all. I came to the realization that there was plenty that was off about the rolling process. First off the order of the choices.

Name
Password
Race
Sex
Class
Weapon
-roll-
Alignment
Ethos
Hometown

The fact of the matter is that it should go Name, Password, Class, Race, ect. Class should be the first thing a person picks because that is what people really roll. Nobody says that they are going to roll up an arial. An arial what? Most people focus on the class. For example making a necro. If you don't know what races can be necros from the start you end up with some off choices. I'm sure we all know but what if you wanted a nice anti-paladin. First off you must know which classes can roll up an anti-paladin. Furthermore, the rolling process before the alignment, ethos and hometown. Seems to work fine, but I would personally rather see it at the end stage. Sometimes during rolling the mud crashes and when you try to roll up the same character you find that one exists, a neutral anti-paladin when it happened to me. But, thats something else. Regardless that the three are life choices and not unchangable parts of existance they really should be before the character is rolled. I would suggest the order go.

Name
Password
Class
Race
Sex
Alignment
Ethos
Hometown
-roll-

P.S. The fact that this would render Dev's roller completely worthless is besides the point. BTW, imps you could stop all the rolling programs by changing the order of the questions about name originality. Fry them all in one foul swoop. I really think this is how the process should go. The most important character choices first, Class, is the most important.

- Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
