There are also ravens, monkeys, faerie dragons, imps, quasits, shadow cats, coyotes, and probably something else I'm forgetting. > > Special skills of familiars. > Owl can see hidden/invis, can fly up high, and can pick up one item. Can't open doors. Faerie dragon can faerie fog. The quasits can poison I think. Raven sounds a lot like Owl. Monkies can steal. Shadow cats can pass-door. > > I just got my raven and she got killed...I couldnt flee. > In this case, it's better to just 'fam release'. You can always just call another one. > > Just little tips and tricks perhaps to help out along the way. > Some other things to note, though not terribly applicable since you're a drow. Archons don't require a circle if you're good-aligned. Angels always do. Draw a circle if you're going to try dismissing anything. Don't let assassins or bards piss off your servitors. Don't conjure something, fail to bind it, then just leave it sitting there - it will come after you. Or so I've heard. > Otherwise, you're in for a treat. Basically a conjurer with an archon anywhere above luminous can charge through just about anything. You'll never need to ask anyone's help to kill guildmasters in Arboria. Or nastier things in Arboria, for that matter. Cavefisher? No problem. > It's also quite handy to be able to tesseract. I quite enjoyed never having to navigate the shadow grove in order to reach the tower of high sorcery. One thing to note about tesseract - you can only succeed on low-level creatures. So make a habit of remembering low-ranking =unique= creatures from each area that you might want to tess into. e.g. "spark" for elemental valley, "camel" for hamsah, etc. THanks for the info. SO..being evil I wouldnt want to attempt to bring angels or archons? They would most likely kill me then? I dont think it goes against my role, they would be goodly beings brought to do my bidding. But I would think chances of them laying waste to me would be pretty high? Correct or no?
