Full-looting... doesn't make the game more fun for anyone, BUT it's a necessary evil at times. Doing it all the time is assholish. If it's a random PK, look in the corpse, take what I want, leave it. Only full loot if there's a horde of newbies around who will loot before I can get my first pick. If that's the case, the guy's gear is gone anyway. After that, if it's within your role, return what you don't need (not if you're an Imperial, obviously). Random PK of someone who's totally stacked? Full loot if you can, basically, and give the gear to friends or cabal-mates. Full-looting is to be avoided, but hey, if you're badass enough to have full darkened and wides, then you're badass enough to get them again, and my friends will be happy when I bring that motherlode back. Cabal warfare... full loot on raids is pretty much the norm. Eq flows back and forth on raids, that's just how it is. Lowbie PKing... people who full loot orcish leggings and charred bracers and sac them are assholes. Period. --- Ok, now about Imperials... yes, you can get in trouble for leaving eq instead of donating it, but eh, donations are so easy to come by it's trivial. As Peroleth I had more donations than the rest of Arcana combined (about 12-15 mil) and it took me two hours of work. I don't think you're likely to get called on leaving eq if your donation total is high. If you have donated 10k and an Imm sees you leaving gear in corpses, then maybe you'll get in trouble. But don't put yourself in that position.
